Now that we have decided that our eBay Q4 goals are to really start pushing out some auctions, we need to find a way to make some really snazzy looking auctions FAST.
Enter Page Mage, an online third party tool that, using Flash technology, allows you to create simply stunning auctions with just drag & drop and a little creativity on your part . I pretty much define Page Mage as “Auction Eye Candy”, and your listings REALLY do stand out from the crowd.

I personally use use Page Mage on some of my auctions. I enjoy the creativity aspect of it. Page Mage offers dozens and dozens of templates that can be changed and tweaked to your heart’s desire. I have never actually gone over my FREE 24 listings limit, but it’s not very expensive if you decide that you want ALL your auctions to be handled via Page Mage.
As you can see from the image to the right, I had a GREAT time creating my Harry Potter/Hogwarts themed template to sell my set of Harry Potter Books. In fact, I pick up Harry Potter books whenever I can buy them for under $5 a piece and then put them up as a set of all SEVEN books for a fixed price listing for $60-$70 depending on the set’s overall condition. Since the covers don’t change and I try NOT to have anything in ANY of the books to apologize for, I can use this template again and again.
One of the cooler aspects of Page Mage is that you can save your favorite listings. Once you have built up a few, then you can use them as templates for similar or identical items that you plan on listing. There are no bandwidth limits, no limits on the number or size of images that you can upload to THEIR servers and the pictures are hosted there as long as you have the items saved in your favorites section. Once you’ve created your templates, Page Mage makes it incredibly easy to synch your templates with your eBay seller’s account AND you can also choose to have Page Mage post to your Facebook and/or MySpace accounts. Once you’ve synched your eBay account, you can actually get updates on bids and current auction price through your Page Mage Dashboard.
An additonal “feature” about Flash templates, is that your text is NOT “copyable”. Since Page Mage uses Flash technology, all the embedded photos AND your text are safe from unscrupulous sellers that are looking to swipe other’s descriptions, photos and creativity. Not only is your hard work safe and sound from plagarists, but your images and auctions are safe and sound on the Page Mage servers. I know that makes ME sleep better at night!

Hi Deb,
Just one small point about flash on websites, it will not be able to be viewed on Ipad or Iphone browsers which is a bit of a pain. I do most of my eBay surfing in the living room at night on my Ipad and have experienced this blank listings.
Just a thought.
Regards,
Clive
Hi Deb,
This is an amazing tool! I like the fact that other seller won’t be able to copy your descriptions, and pictures if it is powered by Page Mage. Also, if the item needs to share many pictures to be as detailed as possible… Page Mage is great!
I see you have so many great resources that are not expensive or they are FREE!
I am looking forward to learn more and more from you Debbie!
Greetings from Florida,
Ricky
