This is the local Frederick area recycling center. They buy ANY type of metal. I have been told that prices paid are higher in the Gettysburg area. Call around….
Items to look out for: true stainless steel (can NOT be magnetic), copper, brass (including decorative brass), Christmas lights (you must remove the bulbs & plug first), copper wire (you do not need to strip the wire) and aluminum. They also buy cardboard, so if you find yourself with extra boxes, you can get paid to get rid of them rather than pay to have the trash come get it.
